The publicly owned Gilcrease Museum houses one of the world's most extensive and renowned collections of Native American and Western art and artifacts.
Tulsa Park staff has developed historical theme gardens that enhance the museum's collection by reflecting gardening styles and techniques from five periods of the American West.
Gilcrease is opened Monday-Saturday 9am - 5pm Sunday and federal holdays, 11am to 5pm.
Closed Christmas Day. Admission is by donation. Recomended amounts are $3 for individuals and $5 for families. For information, call 596-2787.
